BioRePeel in Lee's Summit: Benefits, What to Expect, and Who It's For

What a session looks like

BioRePeel is performed by our licensed providers under medical direction. After cleansing, the solution is applied and massaged into the skin for several minutes, then removed. Most people feel mild tingling or warmth. The visit takes about 30 minutes. There is typically no significant downtime; some patients notice light flaking for a few days.

How many sessions

Results vary by skin type and concern. Our providers often recommend a series of 3 to 4 sessions spaced two to three weeks apart, then maintenance every one to two months. We will map out a plan at your consultation.

Who is a good candidate

BioRePeel is generally considered suitable for a wide range of skin types and tones. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on skin with active infections or open wounds, shortly after certain other resurfacing treatments, after recent isotretinoin (Accutane) use, with a history of keloid scarring, or with a known allergy to any ingredient. Bring your current skincare and medication list to your consultation so our team can confirm the treatment is right for you.

Aftercare

Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, avoid retinoids and exfoliants for several days, and wear broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily. Avoid heavy sweating and direct sun for 24 to 48 hours.
