How Botox Works

These products temporarily prevent muscles from contracting in the area treated by blocking the release of acetylcholine (ACh) in the muscle. Neuromodulators are ideal to help relax active wrinkles in areas of frequent movement on the face. These wrinkles are usually seen when you smile, squint, or frown.
